I have worked with the A and, as I recall, the commands are nothing like any other instrument I have seen. Good luck with it I am able to communicate with the device through the Hp4191w interface, and am also able to retrieve information. Message 1 of 6.

IIRC, the sweep parameters were something like this: Matt – you’re right, the commands for the A are hp4191aa different from the – probably because of its age. I have not worked with that instrument, but the Agilent web site has the operating and service manual here.

Most Active Software Boards: Has anyone done anything on interfacing with the A since Matt C’s last post? Should I be looking at doing it with LabView or something else? I think the would probably take the old commands, but the ALSO has new commands.
However, rather than being returned the data at MHz, Manuxl am returned the data at whatever frequency the analyzer is currently set at.
